Gzira is a highly sought after town in Malta that resides between Sliema and Msida, whilst catching breathtaking views of Manoel Island and our Capital City, Valletta from across the harbour. Manoel Island is one of Gzira's most known sites. It became famous for Fort Manoel, built in 1726 and named by Grand Master Manuel De Vilhena. Today, Gzira has lost much of its historical architecture and charm, making way for large apartment blocks and high rises. It is considered to be a highly sought after rental locality due to its strategic position.
